Having been out on the town last night with some friends, I was not feeling the sharpest when I woke up at home this morning. In fact I felt anything but sharp and the prospect of getting up and going to work was not an appealing one. However, I had to do this and I dragged my sorry self out of bed, into the shower and then out of the house. In doing so I managed to leave my packed lunch at home in the fridge and this meant that I had to go out at lunch time to the store around the corner and get myself something to eat. I was feeling particularly run down, as I usually do when I have a hangover. This meant that I had to make sure that I got some iron rich foods as these are always helpful in giving me a bit of energy and pepping me up.
